Crystal Palace will travel to France to face RC Strasbourg in the UEFA Conference League on Thursday.

According to L’Equipe, the Ligue 1 side are set to be without Abdoul Ouattara against Crystal Palace.

They say the 20-year-old has been ‘indispensable’ for the French club. He has featured in every league game for the French club this season until the last international break.

Last weekend, the Ivorian missed his side’s 1-0 defeat to RC Lens due to an injury.

The newspaper claims Strasbourg assistant manager Justin Walker admitted Ouattara was ‘sorely missed’ in their latest loss. They add the Ligue 1 side will have to cope not having him for a while.

It’s claimed the winger, who can also operate as both right and left wing-back, suffered a hamstring injury. The report adds he’s set to spend the next three weeks away from the pitch.

L’Equipe states the versatile player could miss Strasbourg’s next five matches, starting from the one against Crystal Palace.

Taking Walker’s admission into account, Strasbourg manager Liam Rosenior would miss Ouattara when his side take on the Eagles.

Crystal Palace have six points after three Conference League matches. They are currently ninth in the table, a point behind tomorrow’s opponent, who are seventh in the table.
