West Ham face Sevilla on Thursday in the first leg of the Europa League match between the two clubs.
Julen Lopetegui’s side currently sit second in La Liga, but have faced a few injury issues recently. One of those has been big January signing Anthony Martial, after the Frenchman arrived on loan from Manchester United in the winter market.
The 26-year-old has been surrounded by huge hype since his arrival, largely pushed by Sevilla as a club, yet has only played 185 La Liga minutes so far.
During that time he’s managed an assist, which came against Elche.
He hasn’t played since picking up an injury against Espanyol on February 20th, and Monday’s edition of AS reports he’s ‘still limping’.
Therefore, it’s explained, ‘everything suggests’ he’ll be a doubt until the last minute for the match against West Ham.
Martial would surely be extra motivated to shine against a Premier League side, so David Moyes may be happy if the player doesn’t make the cut.
