Valencia have released a statement on Leeds United loanee Largie Ramazani, detailing his latest injury.

Their official website details the Leeds’ man’s situation today. They explain that the forward is suffering from an injury to the quadriceps of his right leg.

It appears that he’s set for a spell on the sidelines. The Spanish club state that he will continue medical, physiotherapy and readaptation treatment at their Ciudad Deportiva until he shows ‘clinical improvement.’

Valencia provide no timeline for the Leeds’ man’s potential return. His move from Elland Road has been something of a rollercoaster so far.

He started off brightly with an assist in a three-minute debut win over Getafe. But since then, he’s managed 33 minutes, 26 minutes, five minutes and 18 minutes in five games. He is yet to start a game for the Spanish side since his arrival.

Now it appears he’s set for an indefinite spell on the sidelines to further limit his minutes. Valencia are certainly remaining coy on the matter. That, though, is common for Spanish clubs even with their medical releases. His absence is being seen as a set-back for Valencia either way.
