Cesc Fabregas has managed just 12 minutes of Premier League football so far this season, and Antonio Conte doesn’t seem to be a big fan of the Spaniard.
The 29-year-old was an unused substitute against Burnley, and that has put further doubts over his future at Chelsea. According to El Confidencial in Spain, the future of Fabregas may be away from London, and news regarding that is expected soon.
El Confidencial say Antonio Conte is still hoping to strengthen the midfield in the final few days of the transfer window, and things could become even more difficult for Fabregas at Chelsea.
Chelsea have been linked with Inter Milan’s Marcelo Brozovic, which would further suggest Conte is looking at different midfield options.
There is not mention of interest from other clubs, and it’d be interesting to see how this works out in the next couple of days.
Earlier, Fabregas was left out of Julen Lopetegui’s first Spain squad for the upcoming international matches.
