Southampton striker Mislav Oršić could be set for a return to Dinamo Zagreb in the summer after failing to make an impact with the Saints since arriving in January.

That’s according to Tuttomercatoweb, who say Oršić ‘intends to make a change’ at the end of the season after a disappointing stint in England so far.

Oršić joined Southampton in January as they spent big in the winter window in an attempt to strengthen their forward line to aid the battle against relegation.

He’s barely featured since his arrival, though, managing just five appearances and 192 minutes of action in total under Nathan Jones and Ruben Selles.

A report yesterday indicated that he could be on the way this summer, with his agents already working to secure him a move in the summer.

TMW pick up on that, stating that Oršić’s adventure in England ‘is not taking off’ as he would have liked after he managed just one appearance in the Premier League so far.

Life at Southampton is ‘becoming difficult’ for him and he ‘intends to make a change’ at the end of the season, with a return to former club Dinamo a ‘concrete possibility’ for him at this point.
