Steaua București star Nicolae Stanciu has been linked with a move away from the Romanian club.
A couple of weeks ago, Romanian journalist Emanuel Roşu reported Chelsea are keeping close tabs on the Steaua București star.
Recently, Steaua București’s owner Becali claimed that he had received an offer of £7m from a Premier League side, but he made a counter offer of £10m.
We also covered Southampton’s interest in Stanciu back in early July, and there was a chance it could either be Chelsea or Southampton who made the bid for the 23-year-old.
Romanian media outlet Sport have confirmed that a £7m offer has been made by Southampton.
Sport say it’s an offer that can’t be refused, and that Stanciu could leave Steaua București after their match against Manchester City.
The Romanian international had 14 goals and 11 assists to his name last season, and has also scored 4 goals in 6 appearances this season.
