A week ago we covered a story from Italy which stated Rodrigo de Paul was changing agents ahead of a possible move in the summer window.
Moving to Udinese in 2016 from Valencia, the suggestion was that the time for a change was coming around again, and there was said to be ‘many’ teams interested in the player.
The new agent would Leandro Pereiro, working ‘in synergy’ with Agustyn Jimenez.
Tottenham were said to be considering the player, as well as there being interest in Italy.
On Monday evening, Calciomercato report the Argentine has now been offered to Spurs for a transfer. As it stands, Mauricio Pochettino’s club are thought to be looking for players with ‘other characteristics’.
With Serie A interest only growing, a transfer in the next market is increasingly likely, and maybe Tottenham will feel differently about the player then.
De Paul is a flexible attacker, a right footer who can play in a variety of positions up front.
