Source pushing Chelsea bid is very reliable, quick effort genuinely looks on for January transfer

Ruhr Nachrichten are perhaps the most reliable source when it comes to Borussia Dortmund claims.

They don’t throw transfer rumours out constantly, they’re always sensible in approach, and it’s arguably the go-to place for news about the German club.

So that it’s they who are the German source pushing claims of an offer being deposited for Christian Pulisic is significant.

Chelsea interest has already been repeatedly reported by both the German and English media, and whilst a January transfer would be very difficult indeed, with BVB hoping to win the Bundesliga title, the summer looks like a prime time.

It’s claimed that time could be a problem for Chelsea, because they want everything done quickly, against what Dortmund have been considering. The London club have made an offer and ‘want a quick decision’, it’s claimed they ‘urge speed’.

Chelsea’s offer is said to be ‘well below’ the £70m asking price which has been reported, but Ruhr Nachrichten say it’s ‘just the beginning’ as the English club try to get themselves in ‘pole position’.
