Tottenham Hotspur winger Dejan Kulusevski is today featured in an interview with UEFA’s official channels.

Their website has been doing a series showing the path of many players who fought their way into the Champions League, and this is the case of the Spurs player.

Besides speaking of his experience with past clubs, Kulusevski also talked about his time with Tottenham, who he joined on a move from Juventus in January 2022.

The winger talked about how tough it is to work under Antonio Conte, detailing how demanding the Spurs boss can be.

“I never met a man that wants it more than him,” Dejan Kulusevski told UEFA’s website.

“The thing that surprised me the most is the physical part, like doing gym almost every day: going out, doing sprints. After that, maybe he tells you it’s another training [session] in the afternoon. You think you’re completely finished and you left it out there, but then after two hours you are there running for two more hours and doing 10km again. It’s fun. It’s crazy to say, but sometimes suffering is a nice feeling.”

Kulusevski also claimed he’s ‘on the right path’, and details some aspirations he has for his future.

“I want to win and win the big titles: win the World Cup, win the Champions League. [I want to be remembered as] a guy that won a lot but respected everybody and was a good team-mate and always brought energy every day to training and was always thankful for the life that God gave me.”

Playing for Spurs this season, Kulusevski has two goals and six assists in 24 appearances, and is still to get involved in any goals in the Champions League, where he only made three games so far, having missed a few matches because of injury.

Tottenham lost to Milan 1-0 at the San Siro in the round-of-16’s first leg, and now need a positive result in London to try the qualification for the quarter-finals.
