Fanatik report West Bromwich Albion manager Slaven Bilic has held talks with Oliver Burke and advised him over a move to Turkey, with Trabzonspor heavily interested in signing him.

The Scottish winger has been linked with a move to the Karadeniz Firtinasi in recent weeks, and Fanatik claim Bilic, who worked in Turkey for Besiktas between 2013 and 2015, has held talks with Burke.

In their meeting the West Brom boss reportedly advised Burke to consider Trabzonspor’s offer as it may help him to get regular playing time.

The 23 year old has also been linked with a move to Celtic following his loan spell there during the 2018/19 season. However, it seems Bilic is pushing for him to move to Turkey.

Previous reports from the Turkish press claimed the Super Lig club had submitted a two year loan offer to West Brom.

Burke, who spent the last season on loan at La Liga side Alaves, is under contract at the Hawthorns until June 2022.
