It appears to be no secret that Chelsea and Inter Milan should engage in several negotiations this summer.
Those talks are actually set to kick off, because according to FC Inter News, club director Piero Ausilio is on his way to England.
The website reports that the Nerazzurri chief will fly to London on Thursday. There, he’ll ‘sit down at the table’ with Chelsea to talk about three specific players.
Those are André Onana, who could be on his way to Stamford Bridge; Kalidou Koulibaly, who’s rumoured to be returning to Italy after one year with the Blues; and Romelu Lukaku, whose loan at Inter Milan could be extended.
The report claims Ausilio already met Inter Milan president Steven Zhang and coach Simone Inzagh at the club’s headquarters. Now he has all the information he needs to sit with Chelsea and listen to their offer.
The priority is said to be Lukaku’s situation, with the Nerazzurri willing to keep him for another year. Then Chelsea ‘could ask’ for Onana, for whom the price requested is €60m. That’s where the deal could get all mixed up, with Inter asking for the two players from the Blues to be included.
