Manchester United shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe recently had a meeting with manager Thomas Tuchel, according to reports from Germany.
Bild journalist Christian Falk today shares some ‘exclusive’ news, saying there was a conversation between the two in Monaco last Tuesday.
It’s claimed that during that meeting Tuchel ‘revealed’ the plans he has in case he gets Erik ten Hag’s position at Manchester United.
The German manager reportedly explained the solutions he’d have for the Red Devils’ sporting problems, such as reliving Jadon Sancho’s and Mason Mount’s career at the club. He also used Antonio Rüdiger as an example of a player who had all his potential unblocked by him.
Even though the story makes it clear that Ratcliffe is looking for some options in the market, that still doesn’t bring any information on whether the new club owner has decided to sack Erik ten Hag this summer.
For months the German media said Tuchel would like to take charge of the Red Devils following his time at Bayern Munich, and now it seems he finally managed to get an interview.
