Newcastle United have been tipped to convince Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot into a move this summer.

Tuttosport cover the Frenchman today ahead of a potential exit from Juventus at the end of the season and his next destination.

They explain that Rabiot is one of several players in the current Juve squad that could be on their way, even if those in charge would like to keep him.

His contract is set to expire in the summer and at the moment there has been no contact in recent weeks to discuss an extension to his current deal.

That does not mean he will definitely be departing on a free but the prospect of that happening is increasing, particularly as Juventus won’t be competing in the Champions League next season.

Several sides in Europe are ready to make a move for him and the club ‘ready to shower him with gold’ would be Newcastle.

They have a place in the Champions League next season secured and the funds to convince Rabiot and his mother, Veronique, who is also his agent.

At the moment they’ve not fixed any ‘appointments’ with the player as his agent is waiting until the end of the season in June before working on the midfielder’s future.

Whether that is Newcastle remains to be seen but there is a feeling they have the power to convince the player if they wish to do so.
