Valencia have identified Leeds United’s Jack Harrison as a target for the winter market.
That’s according to Marca, and they cover the La Liga side’s interest in the Leeds United winger.
Last season, Harrison was on loan at Everton, where he played close to 2,200 minutes from 38 matches, managing a goal and an assist.
Since returning to Leeds United, the 29-year-old has struggled for regular minutes. To put it in context, he played 353 minutes from 12 matches and Daniel Farke has only started him once in the Premier League.
The attacker’s game time drastically reduced over the last two months, where he played only 24 minutes. The Spanish club could offer him an escape route in the next window.
It’s claimed Valencia want the Leeds United player to improve their attack for the second half of the season. Carlos Corberán has Arnaut Danjuma on the left wing and Harrison has to compete with the Dutchman if he arrives at Mestalla.
The newspaper makes no mention whether Valencia are looking to sign him on loan or a permanent transfer. He has a contract at Elland Road until 2028.
As well as Harrison, Los Ches CEO Ron Gourlay has other names in his target list.
Leeds United’s Largie Ramazani has been on loan at Valencia since last summer.
Farke’s side reportedly have a clause to recall him in January if Corberán doesn’t use him in half of the matches. The Belgian played has made nine appearances and his minutes were partly restricted due to an injury.
