History

Founded in 1867 from a cricket club, Sheffield Wednesday is one of England’s oldest football clubs. Known as “The Owls,” they are four-time English champions (1903, 1904, 1929, 1930) and three-time FA Cup winners. Based at Hillsborough Stadium, they were founder members of the Premier League in 1992.
