Over the past couple of days, Sheffield United defender Harrison Burrows has been linked with a move away from Bramall Lane.

Trabzonspor are looking to sign a left back this month and have identified the youngster. A regular starter at the beginning of the season, the 23-year-old has been in an out of Chris Wilder’s eleven in recent games.

The Turkish club could look to capitalise on his lack of playing time and reports in the UK media this week have said Trabzonspor have tabled a bid for the Blades player.

Their initial offer of £3.5m has been rejected by Sheffield United following transfer talks. The Championship side are looking for an offer in the region of £5m. There are reports the Super Lig side will increase their offer to meet his valuation.

However, Trabzonspor have other left backs on their wish list, and their attention could move away from Burrows.

According to Taka Gazete, Rayo Vallecano’s Josep Chavarria, Anger’s Jacques Ekomie, F.C. Famalicão’s Pedro Bondo, Lorient’s Darlin Yongwa, AC Horsens’ Christ Tape and Cercle Brugge’s Flavio Nazinho are also being considered.

Burrows has made 13 starts in the Championship this season, scoring one goal. He’s contracted to Sheffield United until June 2028.
