If you’ve been following our articles since the start of the new season (and hopefully before), then you’ll know we’ve been keeping a close eye on how Joe Hart is doing in Torino.

The Manchester City loanee, who wasn’t in Pep Guardiola’s plans, made the laudable decision to give European football a go, and moved to Italy to continue his career, even if it was just on a temporary deal.

Apart from the odd mistake here and there, which even the best goalkeepers are prone to from time to time, Hart has impressed a lot in Serie A, and Torino are already thinking about next season.

While the player’s wages could be an issue, the fact the 29-year-old’s contract at City doesn’t run out until 2019 means another loan could be beneficial for both Torino and the Premier League side.

Tuttosport in Italy reckon that’s already being planned for next season, especially with Torino’s other goalkeeper, Daniele Padelli, unlikely to renew his contract with the club, which runs out next summer.

A permanent deal for Hart might be a bit of a stretch for Torino, but if the England international is willing to reduce his wages considerably, and Manchester City aren’t fussed about the transfer fee, it could easily happen.

After all, the goalkeeper has thrown himself fully into the experience, and he seems to be thoroughly enjoying it.
