There is a claim in the Italian media that Juventus are showing an interest in Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri.

The Brazilian signed for Chelsea in the last transfer window but failed to hold down a place in Antonio Conte’s starting eleven.

TMW report Juventus are ‘surveying’ Emerson as they look to strengthen their squad in this transfer window. With Alex Sandro constantly linked with a move to the Premier League, the Chelsea defender could be option for the Serie A champions.

It’s claimed Juventus have yet to make an approach for Emerson.

The 23 year signed for Chelsea from AS Roma in the January transfer window, but he played just five Premier League games for the London club. Three of these games came when Marcos Alonso was suspended.

With Alonso seemingly ahead of him for the left back spot, Emerson could again struggle to get games next season, although this could all change if/when Conte is replaced.
