After the Turkish media reported it, it’s now time for the Brazilian press to confirm that Fenerbahce have accepted West Bromwich Albion’s offer for Josef de Souza.

Globo Esporte claims the clubs have found an agreement and the player is now sorting the final details of his contract with West Brom before the move can be made official.

It’s claimed that the offer is around €10m, and Souza is happy to make the move as he thinks he his career will have more visibility in the Premier League.

When reporting that the first bid had been turned down, Globo Esporte had already disagreed the fee with the Turkish press, who said the amount was a few million more.

The latest claim from Turkey is that West Brom are paying €11.5m.

As reported by Hürriyet yesterday, after the first bid was refused, Souza cried in front of the Fenerbahce president which encouraged him to agree to the West Brom offer.

So it seems the player’s will was crucial for the move to happen.
