Earlier on Thursday, we covered an article from France claiming that Guingamp in Ligue 2 were getting impatient with Nottingham Forest.
That’s because they want Loïc Mbe Soh on loan, and have been trying to make that happen for some time, but no deal has been struck just yet.
It was said the French club could quickly pull out of the affair if things weren’t sorted out with Nottingham Forest soon, but that won’t be a problem for the Tricky Trees, who have another suitor for the 21-year-old.
That’s Dijon, according to Foot Mercato, who explain that the 16th of Ligue 2 ‘want to recruit’ Mbe Soh, who only has two appearances to his name under Steve Cooper this season.
Signed for €5m from Paris Saint-Germain back in 2020, he still appears to be a youth prospect for the Premier League side, and a move for more game time in January could benefit everyone involved.
Whether it’s with Guingamp or Dijon remains to be seen, but Nottingham Forest, and the centre-back, will now have to choose what’s best for the future.
