Nottingham Forest haven’t signed Ramón Sosa despite reaching a verbal agreement with CA Talleres.

On Wednesday, the Argentine club issued a statement stating the winger will return to training, after they failed to secure a sale.

This hasn’t pleased the 24-year-old as TyC Sports say he’s still pushing to secure a move to Nottingham Forest this summer.

A ‘scandal broke out’ at Talleres after Sosa informed the club that he’ll train alone if his move to the Premier League side doesn’t take shape. He didn’t travel with the squad to face Barracas Central later today.

This is a concern for Talleres, less than a week before the Copa Libertadores clash against River Plate.

TyC Sports state: ‘The truth is that everything remains the same and that the pass will finally be finalised is an open secret in Córdoba.’

This indicates that Talleres believe the Paraguay international’s move to Nottingham Forest will eventually happen.

Over at Olé, they say Sosa has ‘rebelled’ against Talleres over a transfer to Nottingham Forest.

He’s upset with Talleres president Andrés Fassi, who has publicly stated that the Reds changed everything after verbally agreeing a deal. The South American club have pinned the blame on Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis.

Sosa has refused to be part of the squad to face River Plate and has communicated that to the club’s sporting director, Cholo Guiñazú. He feels Nottingham Forest’s offer is good enough and is willing to wait until the end of the window to push for a transfer.

Drama.
