West Ham United may have found another suitor for Crysencio Summerville, with Al-Hilal making a ‘strong move’ for the winger in the last few hours.
Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio reports that the Saudi Arabian side have entered the picture strongly for the 24-year-old.
Al-Hilal enter the mix
According to his information, Al-Hilal have made a strong move for Crysencio Summerville in the last few hours. He reports this in relation to Roma’s ongoing efforts to get him.
The Italian side have an agreement with the winger to move to Rome this summer. They are awaiting a response from West Ham having made a third offer for him today. They have already seen two bids rejected by the Hammers.
Sport Witness have covered their developing efforts over the last few days. Indeed, various reports from Italy today insisted that a deal was considered a matter of just hours away.
No bidding war
Now Al-Hilal may have thrown a spanner in the works. Their sudden effort could see Roma walk away. Di Marzio reports that they have no intention of engaging in a bidding war should the West Ham winger ultimately decide he wants to join the Saudi Arabian side.
They, of course, can offer vast wages and an overall deal that Roma, who are still working to comply with UEFA regulations, would simply be unable to match. It remains to be seen what the Saudi Arabian side are offering.
But just when Crysencio Summerville’s future appeared to be on course for a conclusion, their introduction to the mix has complicated things.
The Dutchman appears determined to leave the London Stadium this summer after finding his feet in London last season. But the big offers he was seemingly expecting have not arrived. Now he has a choice to make, Italy or Saudi Arabia. If it’s the latter, Roma won’t stand in his way.
