Rúben Amorim’s spell working a notice period at Sporting CP is now over and the manager is free to take on his new adventure in England with Manchester United.
There had been a few small issues with making sure both Amorim and his team of assistants had secured the correct visas to travel, and then of course to work, but all that now seems to be sorted out.
On Monday lunchtime, Correio de Manha report Amorim and his assistants have all boarded a private jet to take them to Manchester United. They have video coverage of Amorim and his colleagues boarding the jet at Braja airport.
Therefore, the travelling party will be arriving in England in the coming hours and can start their work to try and make Manchester United as ready as possible when the international break comes to an end.
There’s been a rise in fortunes since Erik ten Hag departed Old Trafford, and Amorim will want to make sure he gets off to a good start.
