Antoine Griezmann has established himself as one of the best forwards in Europe over the past couple of years.
The Frenchman has been a key reason behind Atletico Madrid’s success recently, and also helped France to reach the final of Euro 2016, later being named the best player of the tournament.
It is believed several top clubs in Europe are keen on the Atletico Madrid forward, with Chelsea being one of them, reports Mercato 365. Mercato 365 reckon Antonio Conte hasn’t had the last word on transfers, despite the arrival of some big names in the summer.
It’s bee reported Griezmann, who has a release clause of €100m, is favourite to sign for Chelsea, but they face competition from Manchester United.
Roman Abramovich is reportedly already working on the transfer, and Paris-Saint Germain, who were interested in Griezmann last summer, could also revive their interest.
The 25-year-old has 6 goals and 3 assists to his name in 11 appearances this season, and has recently signed a contract extension at Atletico Madrid.
Griezmann is very content at Atletico and any club wishing to sign him may well find convincing the player harder than coming up with €100m.
