Chelsea have set their sights Borussia Dortmund star Karim Adeyemi.
Operating across the front three, he starred for BVB this season, scoring five goals and registering five assists from eight matches.
The 22-year-old’s performances for the Bundesliga side have seen him linked to a few top Premier League sides. Chelsea are now added to the list.
That’s according to Jeunes Footeux, who mention the Blues when discussing Paris Saint-Germain interest in Adeyemi.
PSG, led by their advisor Luis Campos, are now focusing on an attacker who can operate in multiple positions. This is done with a view to challenging Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembélé.
The Germany international has been identified as a target. The Paris club’s leaders are very interested in his profile and his versatility pleases PSG manager Luis Enrique.
Jeunes Footeux warn PSG to be ‘beware of Chelsea’ as they will face competition from the west London club. That’s because Enzo Maresca’s side have made the player their ‘top priority’, likely for next summer.
There’s no mention of Dortmund and Adeyemi’s stance on a possible transfer.
