Leeds United’s Wilfried Gnonto was keen on leaving in the summer but the Championship side refused to open the exit door for him.
Daniel Farke has mainly used the 20-year-old as a substitute this season, and he’s managed a goal and an assist from 19 games, which includes six league starts.
Il Romanista state the winger ‘wants to leave’ Leeds when the transfer window reopens next week.
The Italy international is popular in his home country, where several clubs are keeping tabs on his situation. This includes Lazio, Fiorentina and Inter Milan.
Inter are only monitoring him closely, and at the moment, Lazio and Fiorentina are the main contenders to secure the Leeds player’s services. The Serie A duo need a winger and could consider making an approach for Gnonto in January.
It’s explained that the Whites could give the green light for his sale, if there is a ‘fair offer’.
Gnonto is currently valued at €15m but the report states it’s not ruled out for the deal to be concluded for around €10m.
