Tottenham Hotspur signed Destiny Udogie from Udinese in the last transfer window and then allowed him to return to the Italian club on a season-long loan deal.
Spurs are again looking at the Serie A side to bolster their squad as they have their eyes set on Rodrigo Becão.
Udinese Blog have a report on players who are attracting attention from elsewhere and this includes the Brazilian.
It’s explained the centre-back is the ‘most requested’ Udinese player and Tottenham are one of the clubs in the picture to sign him.
The 26-year-old has reached the highest level of his performance at Udinese, and this has seen his valuation increase by a few million. At the same time, Spurs, Everton, West Ham United, Juventus and Inter Milan ‘entice’ him to think about a transfer.
Becão’s current deal runs down in 2024 and the report explains that Udinese’s owners, the Pozzo family, don’t intend to part ways with the South American for a fee of less than €15m. If it were down to them, the Udine club would not want to sell him in January.
It’ll be interesting to see what Udinese would do if Tottenham or another side arrive with a €15m bid for Becão in the winter market.
