Around a week ago the Turin press boosted their Emre Can confidence once again, and on Monday they once again say the player will be arriving from Liverpool this summer.

Can has agreed personal terms with the Serie A champions, and given his ‘yes’ to Juventus over a move.

Tuttosport say he’ll be coming through the ‘revolving doors’ at the club, one of several transfers expected to happen early in the window.

There had been claims from the same newspaper, and other Italian sources, of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich being interested in the Liverpool player, but that didn’t spread.

It was quite odd that despite insistence from Tuttosport of interest, the local and well connected media of Madrid and Bayern weren’t covering it at all.

The only believable reasons for Can dragging things out were either he was considering a stay at Liverpool, was apprehensive about announcing his exit before the end of the season, or had agreed a move to a more controversial destination (such as Manchester City) and was using Juve as cover.

But it’s none of that believe Tuttosport, and Can will be arriving at Juventus soon.
