Last week saw reports in Italy and Belgium discuss Leeds United and AC Milan interest in Club Brugge star Charles De Ketelaere.

It was also explained the Whites have made an offer which is superior to the one made by the Serie A winners.

On July 9th, Sky Italia explained Leeds are showing signs of surrender since the player prefers a move to the San Siro. It was also stated the Rossoneri plan to make a new offer.

Het Laatste Nieuws reporter Tomas Taecke states the Italian champions’ offer doesn’t come close to Club Brugge’s expectations.

Over in Italy, Calciomercato also state Milan have not received a response from the Jupiler Pro League winners, after tabling a proposal worth €30m [€27m + €3m] for the Belgium international.

Club Brugge have sounded out the possibility of including one or two Milan players as part of the deal.

Meanwhile, the ‘relaunch of Leeds’ have also arrived to ‘complicate’ the San Siro club’s plan to sign the 21-year-old. The Whites are in the mix as the ‘game is open’ to secure the attacker’s services.

RTL Sport journalist Alexandre Braeckman explains that Club Brugge want close to €40m for their star, while Milan’s offer is just over €30m. The two clubs continue to negotiate.

Braeckman further adds Leeds are still not out of the picture to sign De Ketelaere, but their ‘offer remains frozen’ as of now.
