Linked with both Arsenal and Manchester United recently, as well as Chelsea over the summer, James Rodriguez doesn’t want to go anywhere.

The Colombian attacking midfielder appears to be on the fringes at the La Liga giants, having only made one start since the start of the season (against Espanyol at the weekend), and his relationship with their manager Zinedine Zidane has been questioned.

The 25-year-old made it clear during the transfer window that he had the opportunity to leave but the club had rejected a big offer for him, and now he has taken another opportunity to reiterate his desires to stay at Real Madrid.

Speaking to Movistar+, relayed by Calciomercato, James Rodriguez said: “I have the support of everyone and a great relationship with Zinedine Zidane. I’ve always wanted to stay here: and my dream is to do so forever.”

The former Porto star arrived at the Bernabeu from Monaco for a hefty £64m, but the emergence of Marco Asensio as well as the return to fitness of Cristiano Ronaldo has seen his time limited.

Despite his short amount of time on the pitch this season, Rodriguez has still managed to pick up a goal and an assist in his five appearances.
