Along with Mikel Arteta’s side which nearly took them to a Premier League title, Arsenal have also been backed up by their fans with a special chant lately.
North London Forever has become a very popular song at the Emirates Stadium, and a special moment for fans in every one of the Gunners’ matches.
As TNT Sports journalist Fred Caldeira was covering Arsenal’s Champions League match against PSV on Wednesday evening, he could see and hear the chant being sung for the first time, and had a tweet to explain his feelings.
“Still blown away by having witnessed ‘North London Forever’ sung by Arsenal fans for the first time,” said Caldeira on Twitter.
“It’s really, really beautiful. It’s a great fit for the club’s recent turnaround.”
Following Arsenal’s 4-0 win over PSV, Caldeira still managed to hold a couple of interviews.
One of them was with Mikel Arteta, who highlighted the importance of Gabriel Jesus to the team, and the other was with the Brazilian striker himself, who responded talked about the constant criticism he gets from the media.
With the great start in the Champions League, the Gunners now get back to the Premier League, where they face Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby on Sunday.
