Rangers manager Derek McInnes wants to improve his side’s attack, and the Ibrox club are keen on signing Celtic target Farès Ghedjemis. Martin O’Neill’s side wanted to sign him in the winter market but weren’t successful.
Two months ago, Frosinone general manager Pietro Doronzo confirmed receiving a “very significant offer” from Celtic.
Doronzo said: “In January, there was a real possibility that Ghedjemis would leave: Celtic had made a very significant offer. President Stirpe, despite knowing how crucial he was to us, wanted to consult the boy, reiterating that Frosinone is not a prison.
“It was a risk to turn down that offer, but the President’s courage and the boy’s determination were rewarded. Today, Ghedjemis’ value has doubled, and his performances have been crucial to our climb up the ladder.”
The Scottish champions haven’t given up yet and continue to chase him for this summer.

Rangers trying after Celtic failure
That’s according to journalist Luca Bendoni, who took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share multiple updates.
He claims Derek McInnes’ side are pushing to bring the 23-year-old to Ibrox. In another post on X, the journalist claims the Algeria international is the top target for Rangers this summer.
Bendoni also mentions Celtic’s failure to sign him in January, and that other unnamed clubs are now keen on Farès Ghedjemis.
Rangers pushing for Celtic target
Last season, the attacker scored 15 goals and contributed three assists from 37 Serie B matches. He had a key role in helping his side secure a promotion to the top flight.
Therefore, it’s no surprise that the Algerian is attracting interest from several clubs.
