Glasgow Rangers are pushing ahead with a potential deal for Sturm Graz midfielder Ryan Fosso and are leading the race for his signature.

Rangers lead the race
The outlet report that after becoming a Cameroon international in March, Ryan Fosso has proving his ability game by game. And that has earned him attention around Europe.
According to Sky’s sources, Rangers are ‘currently the club furthest ahead’ in the matter. Rangers management have already begun negotiations with the 24-year-old’s representatives to assess the details of a possible transfer.
The Scottish giants are not the only side in the mix. Torino and an unnamed Italian club are also keen on him this summer.
These Italian suitors have recent made enquiries about the terms of a potential deal. Spanish side Levante have also taken the initiative by submitting a contract offer to the Cameroonian’s representatives.
Fierce competition
The fierce competition for his signature is seen as no surprise. Fosso has established himself as one of the most sought-after players in his position, according to Sky.
They describe him as a modern midfielder who can combine ‘excellent reading of the game’ with an ability to win the ball back and ‘snuff out’ dangerous situations. He’s also a player who possesses ‘real technical precision’.
Currently under contract with Sturm Graz until 2026, the midfielder is rated at €2m by Transfermarkt. The Swiss side paid €900,000 to sign him from Fortuna Sittard in January, so it is unlikely they would accept just over double that figure six months later.
For now, Rangers are leading the chase for his signature. But the race is far from run, Torino and Levante are very much in the race too as the player’s stock continues to rise. According to Sky, the situation remains fluid and likely to develop rapidly.
