Rangers are in the picture to sign Anderlecht’s Noah Sadiki, with Michael Beale’s side taking an interest, according to a report from Belgium.
The 18-year-old came up through the ranks of the Jupiler Pro League side’s youth system and was promoted to their senior team last summer.
Sadiki’s preferred position is on the right side of the defence. He has mainly operated as a right-back, while has also been used as a centre-back, a midfielder and wing backs this season.
Friday’s Het Laatste Nieuws names Rangers and PSV Eindhoven as the versatile player’s suitors.
It’s said there is an interest from the Eredivisie club in the teenager and Michael Beale’s side are ‘keen’ to sign the Belgium U20 international. That’s all the report has to say about Rangers.
Sadiki has a contract expiring at the end of this season. This, coupled with interest from PSV and Rangers, means his case requires attention from Anderlecht.
HLN add Sadiki’s situation is ‘quite complicated’, this could favour Rangers and PSV to sign the player for free after this season.
