With Rangers FC now nine points behind leaders Celtic in the Scottish Premiership, Michael Beale will be looking to bolster his squad to see if he can bridge that gap.
That would require the city rivals to slip up quite a few times, but stranger things have happened in football in the past, and that’s why some new faces at the Ibrox could go a long way.
However, it appears Rangers are looking at younger reinforcements if Jeunes Footeux in France are to be believed, as they are eyeing up a young right-back in Belgium.
His name is Noah Sadiki, who currently plays for Anderlecht, and the website claim he is being supervised not only by the Scottish club, but also Lille and PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands.
The youngster is out of contract in the summer, which makes him an attractive prospect for a free transfer, and that will be part of the reason why Rangers are ‘very interested’ in the 18-year-old.
While he isn’t a regular in the Belgian side, he still has 17 appearances to his name in the first team, meaning that he is already showing a lot of promise.
Whether Rangers and Beale pull the trigger and try an approach for the summer remains to be seen, but they appear to be thinking about it, for sure.
