On August 23rd, Rangers will take on PSV Eindhoven in the first leg of their Champions League play-off after Michael Beale’s side overcame Servette FC in the previous round.
The Dutch club faced Rangers at the same stage of the competition last season, when the Ibrox club managed a 3-2 aggregate win to make it to the group stage.
PSV will be keen to avoid repeating that this year, and have received a boost for their two-legged clash against Beale’s side.
The first leg will take place at Ibrox and the return leg is in the Netherlands on August 30th. Four days prior to that, Peter Bosz’s side were scheduled to face Go Ahead Eagles in the Eredivisie.
NOS report PSV requested to postpone this clash so they’d have more time to prepare for the return leg against Rangers.
NOS report the KNVB have accepted this request and have therefore rescheduled the clash against Go Ahead Eagles for September 27th.
Meanwhile, Beale’s side will face Ross County on August 26th.
