With four goals in 15 Eredivisie games for Vitesse Arnhem this season, Million Manhoef has caught the attention of Rangers and Philippe Clément.
That’s according to Algemeen Dagblad, who look at the business the Dutch side could conduct during the transfer window, with their key player target by the Ibrox side and many others.
As well as Rangers, it’s revealed that teams in Spain, Italy and England (in the Championship) are after the 22-year-old.
However, any club who wants the winger will have to wait until the summer, because those in charge of transfers at Vitesse, Benjamin Schmedes and Edward Sturing, have ‘vetoed a winter transfer’.
This is because they would be sacrificing ‘too much quality’ by letting Manhoef go in January, leaving Rangers with the need to look elsewhere if they want to bolster their forward line.
The summer will be far more suitable for a deal, however, because in the eyes of both the aforementioned Schmedes and the player’s entourage, a ‘major transfer’ needs to happen.
The U21 Netherlands international has been at Vitesse since 2016, and has made 84 appearances for their first team, scoring 16 goals and assisting another 14.
