Rangers manager Michael Beale has set his sights on bringing Fenerbahçe’s Bright Osayi-Samuel to Ibrox in the summer.
That’s according to Vatan, who state the Scottish Premiership club have ‘made an offer’ to sign the right-back. There’s no mention of the details of the bid tabled by Rangers.
Vatan are unaware of the Turkish club’s response after receiving a proposal from Beale’s side for the 25-year-old.
Rangers interest in the Nigeria international was explained when talking about the players who could leave Fenerbahçe in the next window.
Osayi-Samuel managed an assist from 37 games last season. Vatan say the former QPR man, for his part, ‘wants to leave’ the Istanbul club.
Beale has relied upon James Tavernier for the right side of defence, with Adam Devine providing cover to the former last season. Devine arrived at Ibrox last summer and was used as both sides of the defence at Rangers.
Along with Rangers, A Spor reported last month that AFC Bournemouth and Leeds United are also in the picture to sign Osayi-Samuel.
