QPR will to sign 24 year old is backed up in France, interesting deal

Reports in the English media have suggested Championship side Queens Park Rangers are interested in signing Metz winger Yeni Ngbakoto.

Those reports are now confirmed by French newspaper L’Equipe, who suggest QPR face competition from Angers, Toulouse and Mainz for his signature.

The 24 year old French midfielder 12 goals and 11 assists to his name in the Ligue 2 this season, and could be a good signing for QPR.

L’Equipe say Ngbakoto, who has had a good season, has one year left on his contract at Metz, although there have been other claims it’s actually 2.

He has also represented France at U17 and U18 level, and is a product of the Metz youth academy.

QPR have a wide scouting network and it looks to be bringing some interesting options for them.
