Queens Park Rangers have reached an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Gianluca Frabotta, reports Gianluca Di Marzio.
The 25-year-old is a left back who can also play in central defence or as a wing back. He’s been at Juventus since 2019 without really making a breakthrough at the club and that’s seen him go on repeated loans.
Frabotta has been out on loan to Hellas Verona, Lecce, Frosinone, Bari and Consenza in recent years. He was an Italy youth international, which will have been behind Juventus signing him from Bologna, but things haven’t worked out as well as hoped for.
QPR have reached an agreement both with Juventus and the player. To help with that, Frabotta’s entourage have travelled to London.
He’ll get a three year contract at QPR, but the deal can’t be finalised until the Championship side complete an exit for Kenneth Paal.
It’s a case of one replacing the other here, so they don’t want to commit contractually until they’ve sorted out Paal’s situation.
