Pawel Wszolek joined Queens Park Rangers on a loan deal from Hellas Verona in 2016, and in January 2017 the deal was made permanent.

The 26-year-old’s current deal runs down in less than six months and he’s eligible to sign a pre-contract agreement with clubs outside England.

Polish sports newspaper Przeglad Sportowy conducted an interview with the winger and one of the questions was the possibility of him leaving Loftus Road in the winter transfer market.

“One thing I am sure: I will not go anywhere in January, I want to stay at least until the end of the season,” he explained.

The player is of the belief that he will be at QPR beyond this campaign after revealing that talks over a new deal could start next month.

“I just think about football. If I continue to play well, the club will definitely offer me a new contract. I am not afraid of what will happen to me,” Wszolek said.

“I have something to gain here. I feel stable and this is the most important thing. And any talks about the contract will probably start at the turn of February and March.”

If Steve McClaren’s side decide against offering the Poland international a new deal, Wszolek will have to leave the Championship side in the summer.
