Queens Park Rangers are showing interest in UD Almería’s Bruno Langa.
The left-back’s situation has encouraged QPR and others to try and secure his services.
He initially joined the Segunda División side on loan from Portuguese side Chaves in February 2021 and made his stay permanent later that year.
In July 2025, the Spanish club sent him on a season-long loan deal to Pafos. They cut short his stay in January, only to sanction another loan to Estrela da Amadora in the same window.
Operating mainly as a left-back and at times a wing-back, the Mozambique international played 895 minutes from 11 matches for Amadora.
Record in Portugal recently reported the Portuguese club have said goodbye to the fullback, and he has to return to Almería.
QPR can open door for Langa
The 28-year-old has an opportunity to continue in Spain or move to England. That’s according to journalist Rudy Galetti, who took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share a short but an important update on QPR.
He claims Julien Stéphan’s side and Elche CF are keen on Bruno Langa, and the two clubs could battle it out for him this summer.
Although the player returns to UD Almería, he’s unlikely to have a future there and Galetti claims a summer move remains a ‘possible scenario’.
There’s no clarity on who among QPR and the La Liga side are now ahead, or the player’s preference.
Juan Bernat is one of the left-backs at Eibar and has a contract expiring later this month. AS state the Spanish club are working to convince the 33-year-old to extend his stay.
Should they fail, Eibar will look at other options, and this is where the QPR target comes into the picture. Langa was on their list in January prior to his loan move to Portugal.
Reasonable deal for QPR
Transfermarkt value Bruno Langa, who has a contract until 2028, at €1m. The highest value was €1.5m in March 2023, when he was at Chaves.
The Championship side can take advantage of the uncertainty around his future and sign him for a reasonable price. The price may be slightly above his current market value.
Two months ago, Sport Witness relayed news QPR are also keen on NAC Breda left-back Boy Kemper. His contract is until June and will be available for free.
