Fulham and Leeds United are among the clubs chasing Paris Saint-Germain youngster El Chadaille Bitshiabu, according to a report from France.
The 17-year-old came up through the ranks of the Ligue 1 winners’ youth system after joining their academy in 2017. He made his first team debut towards the end of last season and has made seven appearances in all competitions this season.
Even though Bitshiabu has only made a handful of appearances for PSG, he’s drawn attention from several European clubs. Fulham, Leeds, Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen and Red Bull Salzburg are included in the list.
That’s according to Jeunes Footeux, who state the defender’s profile is ‘very appreciated’ by the five clubs.
It’s explained the France U19 international is ‘still followed’ by Fulham, Leeds and others for the summer window.
Salzburg’s interest in the versatile player, who can operate as a centre-back and on the left side of defence, isn’t new as they failed to sign him last summer.
Bitshiabu’s deal lasts until 2024 and he’ll turn 18 years of age in May. This means Fulham and Leeds would be allowed to sign the teenager in the next window.
