Paris Saint-Germain are in the running for Bournemouth star Eli Junior Kroupi and have an advantage in the race.

Foot Mercato report that the 19-year-old wants to join the Champions League holders over other clubs this summer.

Bournemouth – The King of sales

The website reports that Bournemouth are poised to become the king of sale in the transfer market. After selling their defence last summer, this summer the focus is very much on Eli Junior Kroupi.

He is causing a stir in the transfer market already. Reports have linked Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain with potential moves for the Frenchman.

According to Foot Mercato’s information, Europe’s elite are certainly keen. They state that PSG, Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Manchester City all have the Bournemouth striker on their shortlist. City have already held meetings regarding the 19-year-old.

€100m asking price

Bournemouth’s asking price is believed to be €100m. That will immediately rule out several of the potential suitors.

PSG could afford such a sum, and have one major factor to their advantage: Eli Junior Kroupi dreams of playing for the French giants. He would be ‘delighted’ at the prospect of joining the Parisians this summer.

That’s seen as an important step in France. The saga for his signature is likely to be intense, with Europe’s elite ready to do battle for his signature. PSG, though, could have an early advantage in the developing fight.

The question is whether they want to move. With arguably Europe’s best forward line already at their disposal, they don’t particularly need to strengthen in that department.

Reports have linked Gonçalo Ramos with an exit this summer, though. And that could open up a space behind Ousmane Dembélé for the Bournemouth striker to fill. His desire is already clear, it now remains to be seen if PSG are equally keen, particularly at a €100m valuation.
