Lazio are one of the clubs chasing Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood in the summer window.
The forward’s future is said to be away from Manchester United due to off-field issues, and the Serie A side are keen on securing his services.
That’s according to Il Messaggero, who say the Italian club have already carried out a first survey for the 22-year-old.
Last summer, the Biancocelesti rejected a chance to sign the Manchester United man on loan, and he’s now valued at €40m.
On Thursday, Lazio president Claudio Lotito had a ‘summit’ with the Red Devils in Manchester, where he proposed two different formulas. The first is €18m plus 50% of the fee from the attacker’s future sale.
The second is €18m fee plus the inclusion of 22-year-old goalkeeper Chrīstos Mandas [valued at €18m] as part of the deal for Greenwood.
Il Messaggero state the Italian club will find out today if Thursday’s summit has convinced Manchester United.
Lazio may not be successful considering Erik ten Hag’s side ‘only want cash’ for Greenwood.
