Erik ten Hag is in contention for the vacant job at Wolves.
The Premier League side have failed to register a win after 10 league matches and are bottom of the table. They showed the exit to Vítor Pereira, and Ten Hag is in the running to become his successor at Molineux.
On Tuesday, Algemeen Dagblad reported Wolves made contact with Ten Hag’s agent on Monday. Later that day, ESPN NL explained the manager is keen on working in England again after his spell at Manchester United.
NOS now back up the interest in the 55-year-old and cover the latest on this case.
They report the coach’s camp have confirmed to them that he’s attracting interest from Wolves. At this moment in time, it’s unclear whether Ten Hag will end up taking the job.
The Dutchman’s camp have also made it clear that reports of the manager having talks or discussions with Wolves are ‘premature’.
Although Wolves are interested, any effort to take Ten Hag to Molineux isn’t at an advanced stage as of now.
