On November 4th, Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Balázs Tóth suffered an injury in his side’s league win over Bristol City.
The blow has forced the Hungary international to miss the ongoing international break. Subsequently, the Hungarian media got in contact to find out the prognosis.
M1 Aktuális interviewed the Blackburn Rovers player about his injury situation, and Nemzeti Sport have relayed his comments.
The 28-year-old said Hungary manager Marco Rossi was quick to contact him after his setback earlier this month. This pleased the stopper as he feels valued by the national team.
“I spoke to my teammates. Rossi wrote to me half an hour after I was substituted, asking about my condition,” he said.
“It was good that they were so worried about me. I felt their trust, and this also gives me strength to return and be positive.”

Initial claims from the English press said the 28-year-old is set to be out for three months. Earlier this week, Tóth said he intends to be back sooner.
The Hungarian remains hopeful of returning to action at the start of December.
“I’m very well. I came home the evening after the surgery and started rehabilitation,” Tóth explained.
“I would like to deny this injury a little, I don’t know if I can do it, but to return from it a little earlier than they say.
“They predicted four to six weeks as a layoff, but I would like to be able to do it within four weeks. I’m doing everything I can to return to the field as soon as possible.”
Tóth has four clean sheets and has conceded 17 goals from 13 matches for Blackburn Rovers this season.
