Aston Villa are one of the clubs in the picture to sign UD Almería’s Largie Ramazani in the summer, according to Estadio Deportivo.
Operating across all three attacking positions, he’s managed three goals and an assist from 30 league games this season. The forward has largely been restricted to a substitute’s role under Rubi in this calendar year, causing concerns to his entourage.
The 22-year-old’s situation at the La Liga side has caught the attention of other clubs, including Aston Villa.
It’s said several clubs from the Netherlands, England, Spain, France, Belgium and Greece have already asked both Almería and the player’s camp about his situation. The Villans could be one of them to have made an approach.
ED say several Premier League sides have already scouted the Belgian and ‘one of them was precisely Aston Villa’. They are the only English club named in the report. Apart from Unai Emery’s side, AC Milan are also in the mix.
Ramazani arrived at the Spanish side in 2020, after spending three years at Manchester United’s academy. The forward has ‘always made it clear’ that he wants to continue his development either in the Premier League or La Liga.
His contract lasts until 2025 and includes a €40m release clause. It’s unclear if Almería are ready to offer a discount for Ramazani, if there’s a transfer in the summer.
