West Ham are back being linked to Rodrigo Battaglia from Sporting this Thursday, this time by newspaper A Bola.
Even though the Hammers have already been named a few times as pretenders for the midfielder, the outlet claims the club are the latest to join the race for him.
A Bola brings no big news on the chase, and they don’t seem to have information on when or how much would West Ham may offer for the player.
But something interesting is the way they treat the Hammers’ interest, using a few words which fans from the Premier League club would be interested in reading.
It’s claimed that West Ham don’t have a very ambitious sport project, since they goal is to stay in the Premier League. That is obviously treated as a negative point for them.
However, the club are known in the transfer market for being one of those who pay best in terms of salary, making it an ‘important attraction’.
There’s another story in which West Ham are mentioned in A Bola today, which is about Rui Patrício.
But as the Portuguese newspaper takes claims from the English press, they don’t have much to say, except to explain the battle that should happen against the likes of Wolves and Napoli.
