Leicester City have reportedly reached a deal to sign Sporting duo Islam Slimani and Adrién Silva.
Diário de Notícias, Record, O Jogo and Zero Zero are all claiming that the agreement happened on Tuesday night and the Foxes are expected to pay between €60m and €65m for the double deal.
Diário de Notícias and Zero Zero say that Leicester will pay €35m for the Algerian striker and other €25m for the Portuguese midfielder. But Record and O Jogo are claiming that Adrien’s deal has €5m more in add-ons.
Adrien Silva was is in a difficult situation at the club, since he gave an interview saying he was ready to leave, but then Sporting released an official statement saying he wouldn’t be sold for less than his release clause, which is €45m.
But the outlets who claim the deal say the Sporting board were afraid the player wouldn’t be much motivated if he stayed, and decided to sell him.
With these deals, Sporting have made more than €100m during this transfer window, as João Mário’s move to Inter Milan already gave them €40m.
